Rogers Carter Smith tells us that Ray died May 28, 2009.  He was living in Prineville at the time of his death with his wife, Sandy, who also went to Sunset perhaps from the class of 1964.  Apparently Ray enjoyed biking and hiking on trails alone and had a major cardiac event.  He was found by others on the trail and was beyond medical help when he was discovered.
