Bill Peterson

Bill Peterson

Gary Wheeler supplied us with the following information.  Thank you, Gary.  We appreciate knowing about our friend, Bill Peterson:

Bill was a good friend in high school and for years after graduation. We worked together at Nendell's along with alot of other Sunset folks.

Bill died in a house fire at his home up off of Skyline Blvd. No one else was in the house.

I was living in Atlanta when I received the news.  I believe the year was 1972.

Bill's dog was found next to his body at the back door of the house. Big questions about why and who started this terrible fire.

I think of Bill often, he was so full of life.

Miss you Bill.

Bill what a Happy Positive person.  Always made everyone around him laugh at themselves.  He was always a front man when anyone had to deal with the adults in their lives.  He would smile and say "yes sir and yes mam" and win the adults over. Bill was everyone's friend.

Most of us will remember his old green station wagon he drove.  It was named the "Green Latrine" always traveled on the Center line of the Sunset Hwy.

Bill will be missed by many at our 50th.

RIP Bill
