Susan died of cancer at age 59 on Dec. 13, 2004.  She lived in Beaverton and was survived by her parents, a sister and two brothers.

I never got to know Sue in High School but I do remember having an afternoon class with her.   In 1985 her parents moved next door to me and I got to know her through them. She worked for the State of Oregon and then for the Portland City Attorney's Office where she was still employed at the time of her death.
