Carol Yahn Reese's husband, Steven, informed us that his wife passed away on May 16, 2019.  The only obituary I have been able to locate says:  Carol was born on October 3, 1945 and passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019. Carol was a resident of Bainbridge Island, Washington at the time of passing.

Carol and I had Spanish class together for at least 2 years.  We would be nervous going to class as Mr. Snyder could be a bit tempermental, and was known to throw erasers or slam books when students misbehaved or didn't come to class prepared.  He never got upset with the two of us, though, because we were "good girls" and followed the rules.  I have fond memories of Carol in high school and am saddened by her passing.

Rest in peace, Carol.  You will be missed by your classmates.  Terry Schumacher
