School Story:
I came as a transfer student 1962 for a few months moved, to Germany as my Dad was in the Army, left Germany - went to Colorado a month or 2, came back to Sunset HS and graduated with our class of '63 .. Was the "new girl" both times & didnt make many lasting friendships .. I looked at the names and I remember lots of names but not sure who remembers that "new girl" .. I remember our lunch room, (often ate my lunch in the bath room as I had no 'friends' to sit with in the lunch room, no one sat with the 'new girl'), the little store off the lunch room where I would buy those folders, orange ones .. I did have my 'name blouse' that made me feel like I was one of the gang :) ... Swimming for PE 1 st period - ugh ... Often being late for class as I had no idea where classrooms were .. Having teachers never pronouncing my last name right .. To me it seemed they yelled it out Judi SaxEEEE .. as I got to class LATE .. so embarassed .. Name is Saxe (sounds like sacks) ...
