My sons asked me if I wanted an 80th birthday party. I told them I wanted to go to the newly rennovated restaurant, Casa Bonita, which was originally built in a Joslins Department store in 1973. I took my sons there when they were young, including a cub scout troop. They filed for bankruptcy in 2021 and it was purchased and rennovated ($4,000,000) by the two men who produced the TV show, "South Park." It reopened in 2023 to better food (still not "terrific") and has the old attractions inside (like the divers) but it is cleaner and cooler than it used to be. It was decorated for "The Day of the Dead", in Mexico, or Halloween, in the U.S.  It was a very fun afternoon!

And here we have Betty Hutchinson Flad and her husband, Jim, celebrating her 80th birthday at Miros in Palm Springs!  Hope it was a great meal, you two!

Oh, my gosh.  I don't know if you guys are having fun with this, but I sure am!  Ron and Cathy Oldroyd shared their adorable photo with us! You look exactly as handsome as you did in High School, Ron!
